10 Months

Really...10 months...where does time go?

Calendars...who looks at calendars in the summer time? I don't...that is until last week when I realized that I go back to school in 2 weeks! Really...where does time go?

When I look back at this summer, I haven't gotten as much done with the house as I would have hoped. However, I have spent a lot of time with my favorite little guy! That is all that matters!

Who would want to do anything but love on this little guy!?


Matt is on the move these days. He is cruising pretty fast around the furniture in the living room. He has several new faces. I have tried to capture them but am still working on it. He has the most precious surprised face. He is also making several new sounds.

Matt and I are responsible for getting the drinks to the hay field. Last week I also took the opportunity to take a couple of pictures.



My said his first word..."eat". That isn't really a surprise.

Today is also Sue Sue's Birthday! Happy Birthday Sue Sue!

Thankful!

Since the weather was so nice this week, there was a lot of hay being baled. I have to admit that before I married a farmer, I never really noticed much that was going on on the side of the road. Now I notice...it is like a whole new world when you open your eyes and notice what is going on ALL around you. It might sound crazy, but I could tell you if the hay had just been cut, racked or was ready to be bailed. For that matter, I could tell you if it was hay or straw...who knew there was a different.

I am so thankful for this new world that I am a part of and I am even more thankful that our son will grow up on this farm.

Matt and I watched Daddy baling hay. Matt sat in his portable high chair in the back of the car. :)

Another thing that I never noticed is the art of hay baling. My husband is the best!


I couldn't resist...I had to buy Matthew these sunglasses. Now he really looks like his daddy!
